Gossip Girl, Love of Our Life

Evening readers. And I hope there are some of you from Upper East Side, so I could be the second Daniel Humphrey in town saying "hi" to beloved Upper-East-Siders. Like the last lines from our beloved secret blogger, Gossip Girl:
"You may be rid of Dan Humphrey, but you'll never be rid of me. There's always someone on the outside, wanting to get in. Who am I now? That's a secret I'll never tell. XOXO, Gossip Girl."

Perhaps I'm that outsider. So anyone must always be cautious with my insider-wannabe agenda.
I won't let you recline comfortably on your chaise longue.

So yeah, our dearest tv series, Gossip Girl, has ended. The last episode (episode 10) from season 6 was aired on last Monday, December 17th 2012 GMT-5 in USA, giving a shock to all of other characters in series and to every fan in the world that Daniel Humphrey had been the Gossip Girl all along. But Gossip Girl and all of the characters will always live in our hearts. They stay remain the same for us not to forget that gossip could be anywhere and anytime, leaving a scar for every moment in life as lesson, so that we won't misbehave.

We also shouldn't forget for every quotation given in the series, either given by Gossip Girl herself (or should I say now "himself"? LOL) or by the characters. As tv series, it may be a fiction, but I'm sure we're aware enough to know that every fantasy can always come true.

Fiction, sometimes, is based on reality instead of imagination; or some other times, based on imagination of expected reality. That's why love, friendship, and family, are the most common life drama to be filmed, aside from action and horror genre.
The hardest part, of course, is Love. not only it includes the friendship and family, but also happens in any age. On top of all, it's the big issue in my age, isn't it?

Remember why did Dan start to be Gossip Girl? yes, it's because he was so damn in love with Serena.
Remember why, in last of season 5, was Serena out of town? yes, it's because she fought to death for the love of her life: Daniel Humphrey.
Remember how Chuck & Blair did suffer back and forth? what else if it wasn't for love.

It's just a relief knowing finally Chuck and Blair could finally be together after so many pain they had been through; and there's Henry Bass now giving more flavours to their love life.
It's happy also to see Dan and Serena were finally married to each other after so many years of struggle and waiting.
But, some other times, love is not as beautiful as it's expected, even in movie.

Sometimes we're just not meant to be with the love of our life like Lily & Rufus, but sometimes our years of waiting could be worth it like Serena & Dan.

Lily & Rufus, no one can disapprove how much they're so in love each other despite the hardship. In their youth and then in their adulthood, the universe still acknowledged their love. But to be together, it takes more than love.
However, still it hurts if we can't be together with the one we love, no matter what the reason could be.

When you are not meant to be together with the love of your life, is it then infidelity if you try to love someone else or decide to move on? Or do you want to stay faithful to love you've been holding onto despite knowing you can never grasp and have a firm grip upon it?

Which one is your love life story, readers? Lily-Rufus, or Serena-Dan? Have you ever contemplated once?
Or perhaps, me is the one who must be crying over about it. Is 7years enough and I must let go, or being miserable always a better option?
Irony of life, isn't it? When you think you're already strong enough to pretend, your unconsciousness sometimes must surface to ease the burden once all over again. But one thing, the burden won't ever be gone.

No matter which love life story we've been through, after all, Gossip Girl will always be the love of our life. Perhaps, it's the only real coupe de foudre you've ever experienced. You know you love Gossip Girl. XOXO.
