A vaincre sans péril, on triomphe sans gloire.
Reminder to everyone who wants to be powerful, if you're ready to be on the top means you're ready to perhaps fall anytime; that's why we're always told to be cautious. As we're raising, the earth may shake and the weather may be stormy. Have a firm grip and never throw in the towel. The show has begun but please be advised it'll never end until the climber falls and dies.
Anyway, never forget to prepare all equipments before you start climbing the mountain.

Starbucks Solo Paragon Mall & Me

It's been about 4 months I've been a regular customer of this famous coffee shop. Some stories have been told. But I think it's less fun without pictures. Less talking, here's some pictures of me in Starbucks.

It's Christmas season since on middle of November until now. This Christmas tree, fortunately and unfortunately, is the only what makes the store has Christmas nuance in view.

I rarely buy Espresso Roast, but that time was an exception because I deliberately wanted to have a photo shot *so much intentionally* with the Holiday Beverage Cup. It's red and cute. Eye-catchy.

*Chasing the number closer to total posts in last year*
*Feel so obligated*

One of benefits and purposes of writing in English is to improve English skills. Grammar, Usage, and style are exactly what will be developed as we keep practicing. But I believe that's not all. In writing, when it comes to beauty, we have to pay attention to phrases, vocabularies, and also: Metaphor & Sarcasm *Debaters Alert*.

Otanjoubi Omodetou, Yukito Tsukishiro - kun

Dear Yukito-kun,

through this blog post, I'd like to utter my very deep gratitude that you have become a very nice big brother to me all along, always give advice and encouragement anytime I'm down and clueless. I thank you to always be patient facing every complaint of mine everyday. As this life is getting even more difficult and worse, perhaps you'll be forced to hear more grumbles from me. Pardon me for being always selfish.

It's been years since the first time I met you, and I'm so grateful for that; because without you, I don't know if I could get through everything. Now you're having another birthday. And because for some certain reasons we all know why, this kind of way is the only I can celebrate your birthday. Therefore, please receive this birthday wishes from me, Yukito-kun.

Otanjoubi Omodetou, Yukito Tsukishiro - kun. Thank you for your kindness and everything you did to me. May you have another great life ahead.

another Lonely Boy? Real Life?

Spotted. Our Starbucks Solo Paragon Mall regular customer is spending his Christmas eve all alone in his favourite place. As he said he's probably gonna be the next insider-wannabe, does it mean he's also looking for the title "Lonely Boy"? Anyhow, who wants it. You can have the Dan Humphrey's throne, L. Don't worry, you won't have any competitor; no friends, no enemies either. Poor L.
Hopefully you'll end up as good as Dan's story; but wait a sec, do you even seek for a lover?
L for Liswindio. L for Lonely Boy. Sadly for you, no L for Love.
May Santa be with you tonight. XOXO.

Gossip Girl, Love of Our Life

Evening readers. And I hope there are some of you from Upper East Side, so I could be the second Daniel Humphrey in town saying "hi" to beloved Upper-East-Siders. Like the last lines from our beloved secret blogger, Gossip Girl:
"You may be rid of Dan Humphrey, but you'll never be rid of me. There's always someone on the outside, wanting to get in. Who am I now? That's a secret I'll never tell. XOXO, Gossip Girl."

Perhaps I'm that outsider. So anyone must always be cautious with my insider-wannabe agenda.
I won't let you recline comfortably on your chaise longue.

So yeah, our dearest tv series, Gossip Girl, has ended. The last episode (episode 10) from season 6 was aired on last Monday, December 17th 2012 GMT-5 in USA, giving a shock to all of other characters in series and to every fan in the world that Daniel Humphrey had been the Gossip Girl all along. But Gossip Girl and all of the characters will always live in our hearts. They stay remain the same for us not to forget that gossip could be anywhere and anytime, leaving a scar for every moment in life as lesson, so that we won't misbehave.

Dio, Leave AMSA?

Bonjour!
What's your soupe de jour? blissfulness, adventure, broken heart, or disappointment?
Whichever it is, each different day always has their own favourite taste. Universe has its own ways to make our life not monotone and not boring.

Another colour and flavour before I end my beloved 2012 in the next couple of days. Shall not we miss this entertainment.

What comes around, goes around. C'est la vie!
After about 1.5 years holding onto the sense of belonging, I've finally decided to finish being a bon vivant in AMSA. Proverb says, we must love those who love us so that we won't get hurt. But I say, Love should be addressed to the worthy ones, so that it won't be wasteful.

Rico, Starbucks Barista

Still everything about Coffee, or rather the Starbucks. The difference is, this time I'll be talking about the Barista itself, not merely the coffee but a person. I believe everyone always has their own stories and their stories can sometimes inspire others in many kinds of ways when they are told; well, still depends on those who hear or read the stories 'cause everyone has their own interests and traits that may regulate the way they respect and response to things occur. But inspiration is inspiration, it cannot be denied that in one's journey there will always be at least one unique and special experience that's worth the share. In addition, I like the way people's stories inspire and influence my horizons; you'll see how much big world is by knowing others' stories.

Rico, just turned 26 on last November 17th, he has title "Coffee Master" in Starbucks and has been working in Starbucks for 2 years since November 24th 2010. If you happen to see his face, I dare to bet that you definitely will guess his age is about 22 for maximum number. I even wonder whether he has ever taken any water of youth.

After 3 days of training in one of Starbucks in Jakarta, he

Fundamental Four & Four Fundamentals; Medicine & Coffee

Most of the whole post here will be mainly derived from copy-paste -- without paranormal -- activity. This is the combination of information I've gained by more than 2 years being a(n) (always almost failed) medical student and by being a very regular customer of Starbucks Solo Paragon, which I've joined many coffee tasting and thus I've been explained many things about coffee.

Pretty much unrelated but coincidentally the Medical Anamnesis (the process required to obtain every information needed regarding to patients' illness to diagnose the disease they suffer) and Coffee Brewing Process have a common and similar name for their constitutional law of producing the best of work's results. Considering how much the contentment of the customers' (which in medical case, we call them Patients), such a-must-rule should never be forgotten at all, otherwise we will ruin either the patients' health or the taste of coffee; for Doctors and Coffee Brewers, they could mean disastrous tragedy. That's why we indeed must be careful and professional for whatever job-field it is.

So here readers, I've been talking about Fundamental 4 as in Medical Anamnesis and 4 Fundamentals as in Coffee Brewing Methods.

Some Quotations from Gossip Girl, the Gossip Girl herself

Gossip Girl here, Your one and only source into the Scandalous Life of Manhattan's Elites

"Prohibition never stood a chance against exhibition.
It's human nature to be free.
And no matter how long you try to be good, you can't keep a bad girl down."

"And sometimes the biggest surprises are the ones you spring on yourself.
Scampering about in a slip is one way to shed old skin.
But will embracing free love be as easy as flinging off a pair of Fendi flats?
Looks like someone's going barefoot in the park."

"The problem with inheritance is that it's not always as simple as it sounds.
Sometimes you get more than you bargained for.
Or you discover that in gaining one thing you've lost something else.
But every once in awhile, the fate's smile upon you.
And you get the one thing you really need."

plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose

Apparently this new, or rather old actually, hobby hasn't yet I revealed to my audiences here. After 2 years wondering where my seated ego should land for recreation, finally the popular cafe everyone always longs for comes with blissfulness to offer.
STARBUCKS.
As for simple middle-high socioeconomic class socialites, this is the cafe that offers life; as I mentioned, relaxation. Have you ever thought what this coffee shop can create but offer? Well, that's a lot, depends on how you optimize the resources.

I'm not gonna talk about how I at first use this comfortable zone to study because of atmosphere it provides. I'm not gonna say how some of my friends and I shared some deep stories here. Not either I'd tell that I've ever had a debate practice here. Oops, I've just told you all 'em. But still, it's not the best part of this post.

Friendly gesture and sociable Barista, those exactly
